When the heart calls, you follow

Getting into the guesthouse industry, is probably the best thing that could have happened (career wise) to Danél van Tonder. Following her heart to the heart of the Breede River Valley she bought a 3 bedroom-1 bathroom house in 2019. She found an avenue to release her bottled-up creativity into up-cycling old furniture pieces and meticulously combining old and new into French meets Karoo farm style décor providing a fresh new look to the house which now boasts 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.

What makes us unique

French Meets Karoo

French inspired stylish elegance meets the authentic, unpretentious Karoo in a unique décor style. We mixed old with new and luxury with rustic elements to create an ambiance that is more casual but with enough luxury and a certain je ne sais quoi to make even Mari Antoinette feel at home.

Historic Breede River Valley

Preserving history is dear to our hearts. Which is why the history of the Breede River Valley and the Karoo are so intriguing to us.

Wine of the Valley

The winelands beyond the Du Toits Kloof Mountains have been a well-kept secret but the beans (or is it wine) have been spilled!
